Reflectance of CdO thin film decreases for 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5 mol% doped sample. For 2.0 and 2.5 mol% doped samples, Reflectance of the films slightly increased than 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5 mol% doped sample but remains same in the lower wavelength (850-1100 nm) region. Why does it remain the same for 2.0 and 2.5 mol% doped samples? Thickness of all films are nearly same.
It is better to analyze the refractive index changes depending upon doping. That will give the answer for R% difference.
Although it is not clear what is the type of doping elemes which is important for explanation, for low doping concentratino, atoms will replace host points for large atoms or inbetween them for smaller then films absorb more light while for higher concentration there should be access of impurities and they acts as a free charged ions that may cause an increase in the reflectivity
