Why cant I throw a ball in a hole made by Booleanmesh subtract on cinema4d . the cube is defined as a colliding body and the ball is a rigid body. Please find the attached image below?
Amer Jelwy : Thank you very much for your reply Amer. However, if you mean I should use the Boole subtract, I did it too , still It can not pass the hole. I don't know where I am doing wrong.
The Boolean Mesh Subtract operation in Cinema4D is designed to subtract one object from another object to create a new object that represents the difference between the two. However, sometimes the operation may not actually cut the body as expected due to a variety of reasons.
One common reason why the Boolean Mesh Subtract operation may not work as expected is if the objects have overlapping or intersecting geometry. When two objects have overlapping or intersecting geometry, the Boolean operation may not be able to accurately determine which parts of the objects should be subtracted from each other.
Another reason why the Boolean Mesh Subtract operation may not work is if the objects have non-manifold geometry. Non-manifold geometry is when an object has edges or vertices that are shared by more than two faces, which can cause issues when performing Boolean operations.
To address these issues, you can try simplifying or modifying the geometry of the objects before performing the Boolean Mesh Subtract operation. You can also try adjusting the settings of the Boolean operation, such as changing the order of the objects, adjusting the tolerance level, or using different options for the operation. Finally, you can also try using other techniques for cutting or subtracting geometry, such as using the Knife tool or the Spline Mask tool in Cinema4D.
