Why does my structure still penetrate the plate? I have defined the plate as the master surface and my structure as the slave surface as attached in the picture below. The contact type is surface to surface contact and the load applied to the inside of the structure is positive pressure. The plate is discrete rigid and fixed in all directions at the center reference point since I want to measure the reaction force of the plate in response to the structure's pressure. Any solutions on how to fix this problem?

In order to debug your model and BC´s, it is a good idea to start assuming a bonded contact between the plate and the part.
what type of contact that u use? tangent behavior or normal behavior?
