I am simulating a static model with UMAT material behavior in Abaqus using solid (continuum) elements (C3D8H and C3D10H). I had requested the LE output in the field-output section. At the beginning I could receive all the results, containing strain information (LE) from Abaqus.
Then I had reinforced part of the model by using a skin feature and meshed it with membrane elements.
In the results of the modified model, strain (LE) is only available for the skin! Abaqus does not prepare any strain results for other parts of the model which are composed of solid elements.
In this condition (considering a reinforced skin layer in the model), what should I do to receive LE for all parts?

You might want to change your element I think... Put NLGEOM=on it means that you should refer to nonlinear strain component which in this case is logarithmic Strain (LE)
