I found my PDMS microfluidic devices turned turbid after 100% IPA perfusion to remove the bubbles. Once I perfused DI water to replace IPA, next day I found the PDMS was hazy. Is there any solution to prevent it? I came to know heating the PDMS devices may solve this problem. But it also created bubbles in channels and dried the fluid inside it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Hi Viraj, Have you tried using a vacuum desiccator to remove the bubbles from PDMS instead of IPA perfusion?
Yes I have tried it. But since the vacuum pump has only 650 mm hg capacity, it is not able to remove the bubbles faster.

Are you trying to remove air bubbles before the PDMS sets or are you trying remove air bubbles trapped in PDMS microfluidic channels? If it's the former, use a vacuum to remove bubbles (even if it takes longer).
