Why might 1 base be different in the forward and reverse reading of the Sanger sequence in the same sample ?

At position 732 my forward and reverse readings are incompatible. what could be the reason for this. there is no problem in the others. there are two different peaks at this position in the forward reading. single peak in the reverse.
