I'm interested to know why MAC complex of human complement system can't kill candida by forming the pore on cell wall candiaalbicansor other noncandida species?
Thanks sir for your suggestions. I know candida produces aspartic acid proteases that cleave complement components such as C3,C4 and C5, but my question is different i asked even if C5-9 bind to cell wall (by escaping from degradation) of candida then also it didnt kill candida by forming pore which generally not a case in MAC formation. and killing of cells by C5-9.
