So far, I have had a problem when I conducted the N2 adsorption-desorption measurement for cellulose aerogel. The adsorption line is almost linear and it seems to be no difference between adsorption and desorption lines. Could anyone give me an explanation for this? Sincerely thank!

This type of isotherm usually appears in non-porous or, in any case, macroporous materials.

Both linear, as well as non-linear isotherm models, can be used to characterize the adsorption process. From the study, you can find out by comparing which curve linear or non-linear fit the experimental data that you have obtained and estimating isotherm parameters.

What is the on the y-axis, and what is the unit? Should be cm3/g but the values are all too high. How much sample is used? Do You have a leak in the system? Test the system with a standard or a substance with known SSA.
Checked one of my runs. The CC/g is in the range of 50 to 250 (p/p0= 0.005-0.95), this gives a SSA of 260 m2/g.
The values in your figure is 500-5000 cc/g. These are far too high values. Think there is a leak in the system. The gas leaking out is included in the adsorption?
