I am trying to do a kinetic study. I am using graphene- organic compound nanocomposites to show heavy metal removal. I have plotted the graph of nanocomposite against metal ions with respect to time. The absorption changes with time. the metal salts do not show any absorption band at any concentration. in this case what to do for kinetic study. which one should be taken as a reference.

Dear in order to perform the adsorption kinetics you need to plot the achieved adsorption equilibrium is expressed by the relationship describing the change in the amount of adsorbed substance over time. you need to fit your experimental data to kinetic models into the pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order, Elovich and intra-particle diffusion kinetics.
