I have an agilent 1260 infinity Quaternary Pump VL and am having an issue with my "D" channel not pulling an solvent through it. So far I have replaced the tubing from the solvent to the vacuum degasser, replaced the glass frit, replaced the vacuum degasser and tried priming the Channel with a syringe all to no avail. My next step would be to order a new Multi channel gradient valve. Is there something I am missing with this? The MCGV's are expensive and I don't want to order it if there is something I haven't thought of yet.

I had the same problem. The solution in my case was to clean the Chanel with great amount of water...in the way to clean the pump.
Normally there is no need to take the MCGV apart. Just flushing IPA through it, slowly over time usually "unsticks" and re-hydrates the seals so they work again. *We see this problem when users run high percentages of hexane or heptane through the HPLC system. It dries out the seals causing them to not seal (and leak internally). It is always a good idea to flush them down periodically with IPA.
Also, if you are running very dry solvents such as Hexane or Heptane through one of the many versions of the Agilent 1260, please be aware of the fact that most of the inline degassers used in those modules may not be chemically compatible with solvents such as Hexane (resulting in damage to the degasser and contamination of the flow path). A stand alone degasser such as the Agilent model G1322A should be used in those applications. Agilent also recommends different seals for the pump too, but these are rarely needed.
