I realise this is a very specific question but maybe there is someone out there who experienced this issue before and could solve it somehow. I've created a model in ArcGIS with the help of HEC-GeoHMS and even though I encountered a variety of errors, in the end I managed to create all the files needed for the basin export and data check says there are no errors. It also says basin export was successful, however, the .basin file only contains basic information about the file name, date, the extent of the whole watershed but that's it. There is no info about any subbasin! I have no idea what the problem could be... anyone?

This was happening to me before , but with Hec Geo Ras, but I think the same is true. I suggest that you delete Hec Geo Hms, then reinstall it.
On the other hand, try to make sure that the version of Hec Geo Hms is suitable for Hec Hms Version.
