I am trying two make hybrid meshing over a 2D turbine blade. For that i have made geometry in designmodler with two split surfaces at interface around the blade. But when i am importing it to ICEM it is creating some problem. Initially the interface curve is a single curve but when i do build topology the same curve get split into two curves. The half curve got attached to the outer surface and the half with inner surface automatically after applying build topology. Build topology is necessary for tri meshing in the outer part and and matching nodes of o-grid in inner part at the interface. All the mesh topology setting is shown in the figure.
I am new to to ICEM please help me.

There are many reasons for something such that happens. The 1st is CAD source file. If you have split faces, edges, etc. this will be reflected in ICEM. You can improve the tolerance In "Build Topology". (is there Import Tolerance in ICEM preferences also!) But there are other parameters. You can try to "Join Edge Curves". In your figure is not checked. ICEM is a kind of multi-objective optimation, and sometimes It is not well successfully to reach some goals.
As is a single geometry, you can join these curves in Geometry TAB, and delete points.
Sometimes due to angles or intense curvatures, the geometry parametrization split the geometry.
When I have similar problems (2D meshes) I prefer to use the Gambit.

I have made my hybrid mesh in ansys mesher and its very easy. I hv also run a case and it is working.
