Why HiSeq X ten platform can not be used for small RNA sequencing?

From websites, I understand that HiSeq X ten platform only compatible for whole genome sequencing and it is not compatible for small RNA sequencing? However, HiSeq 2500 is regularly used for small RNA sequencing? Can anybody explain why HiSeq X is not compatible for small RNA sequencing?
