This is a general behaviour of thin film deposited onto substrate. The maxima and minima originate from the interference of wave reflected from top and botom boundaries of the film. For particular wavelength all waves are in phase and interefere constructively. As a result a maximum in reflectance and minimum in transmitance occur. Where all waves are out in phase minimum in R and maximum in T are observed. Besides, have in mind that the distance between the peaks depends on the film thickness. As higher is the thickness, as closer are the peaks. Further, the difference in refractive indices between the film and substrate, the so called optical contrast, is responsible for the amplitude of the peaks. The oscilations are stronger for higher optical contrast.
