Why does my Chromogenic Endotoxin Quant kit have high OD blank?

I am using this kit and facing high OD in my plate well that containing lysate buffer and substrate.

I am using endotoxin free plate and pipette tips.

A high OD blank can result from contamination, improper handling, substrate degradation, incubation issues, microbial presence, or plate/reader errors. Using endotoxin-free materials, proper storage, controlled incubation, a clean workspace, and calibrated equipment helps ensure accurate results.
