In PopART software, (the one for haplotype networks drawing) I try to open a nexus file, derived from DnaSP, in order to draw my network. But an error message appears with the following indication:
"Warning from Nexus Parser
Unknown keyword: CHARLABELS"
Does anyone know why and how should I fix it?
My data are either COI or 16SrRNA sequences.

Use Network software to draw haplotype. Network. Convert ur file to RDF format in Dnasp and use the file to draw the haplotype network in Network software which is free software.

@georgia Sarafidou, it is available free on internet, just google search it by typing network haplotye software or other related words, u will get it.
Try using MEGA to convert your aligned sequences to .nex format. Then create your trait file of the haplotype matrix (including refs) file as .csv file. Import both that alignment and the trait files into PopART.
