Hi,

I am currently testing on the ability of arsenic-resistant bacteria (isolated from soil) to reduce AsV and oxidize AsIII. The experiment was conducted using silver nitrate test as reported by Simeonova et al. (2004). I was looking for a scientific reason on why 5mM of arsenic was used in the test to be discussed in my thesis. Unfortunately, I could not find any articles discussing about it. Does anyone know why? if yes, it would be much appreciated if citation can be provided as well for my reference.

Thank you in advance.
