Looking through the history of scientific publications, we can see that only important publications by well-known scientists were getting published and publication was a way to spread special and brilliant findings. But, now we can see that publication has become a way of making money by publishers or it has become a measure for upgrading academic statues. In my opinion, less than 20% of current publications are valuable enough to be considered for being a reference for empirical uses. So, do think that there should be a change in scientific communities to change their viewpoint for future publications?
