Imagine that you are a very successful, high-cited and well-known scientist/engineer, etc. Then, do you prefer to work for a well-known organization working on state-of-the-art systems/projects, or you prefer to start your own business? please tell more about the reasons of your choice.
I prefer to work for a well established organization/company, it is not obligatory for me to be "well-known" kind of organization, but it must be healthy rooted with its vision, mission and key goals. I want to use my skills at the best possible way, and when you are starting your own business you must think on a variety activities and things and cannot be focused on your key competencies and skills.

To answer this question, we need to consider many variables, such as: identity, personality traits, age, gender, personal and social life, role models, environmental opportunities, business ecosystems, country development and etc. These variables are only part of our problem. This (job choice) can be more complicated. For example, we might think that a successful person who has an entrepreneurial personality (including independence, leadership, etc.) usually goes to business or venture creation. However, the same person can be employed in a large,successful company to expand their entrepreneurial personality in the organization and convert the organization into an entrepreneurial organization (Corporate Entrepreneurship). Therefore, there must be more discussion and consideration in this question and its various aspects.

Having a high citation isnt equivalent to industry practice and experience. The academics and industry/enterprise have distinct dynamics. Depending on the context and interplay of several factors i might choose either options. However if as an academician without practical experience in industries then working in an organization seems viable opition due to opportunities to do research in a practical real life scenarios and have access to funding.
