Why do psychologists use notions related to the individual consciousness (or internal world of everybody), the consciousness (or what the particular man sense) is not seen in MR scanner or the other device?
I gave the particular example. The Attkinson-Shiffrin memory model suggests "verbal encoding" in short-range memory and "internal voice rehearsal" to transmit the information from the short-range to long-range memory. About what they say? What is the scientific device that measures "internal voice":))??!!
Who could explain the classical memory model for me :))?

Thank you for your reply on my second question. My first and main question was as follows. Could you explain what are the terms "phonological loop" and "rehearsal" in Attkinson-Shiffrin memory models or the like memory models?

Thank you for your explanation why there is the term "internal speaking". Please do not take seriously my below text! It does not relates to you! I really thank you very much for your explanation.
1. I think that the different time interval to remember two numbers, e.g. "101" and "787" can have many other possible explanations. Let me make a joke. If the scientist says "it is INTERNAL VOICE IN MY HEAD" :) it sound as a joke or.. but if it is seriously one should fast check whether it is schizophrenia :)))...
2. My suggestions about "internal voice". I think the term "internal voice" (precisely personal :), not all the other voices in the one`s head (I am laughing again) ) goes from the introspection observation of himself. But maybe I do not exclude that it is a social thought (from the relatives, books, movies) from our childhood.
3. My critics of "all sensor imageries" in psychology. If one hears or sees something PRECISELY as in real world (!) but the surrounding people do not hear and see it is a hallucination :) (Nobel prize winner John Nash has this illness, see a movie "A Beautiful Mind" about him). Such a man can not distinguish a reality from his imagination. He will not survive in our jungles... So I conclude that there are not any "internal voices", "internal visual pictures" or the like. But maybe there is something in our minds but it is not voices or pictures, taste or smell..WHAT it is I do not know :):)
Does anyone agree with me or not?
