I've been analysing the immune composition of spontaneous breast cancers from the MMTV-PyMT model using flow cytometry.
I routinely find that a proportion of CD8 T cells in the tumour (but not in the spleen) express NK1.1 which I understand could be a marker of T cell activation? In addition, a subset of these NK1.1+ CD8 T cells co-express B220.
Any idea what this NK1.1+B220+ CD8 T cells might be?
