I was using the thin film hydration method to form the niosome using Span 60 and cholesterol (100:120 umol) dissolved in chloroform.

After evaporation under 60 oC and 100 rpm for one hour, i always got the inhomogeneous thin film with some white spots as shown in the figures. And it becomes difficult to hydrate those thin films and i would always get a lot white aggregates.

What can cause those problems? Is that because the chloroform is not stable and some reaction happened?
