I passaged HEC-1-B cell lines 4 times successfully for the experiments and then unfortunately very little cells left for the T-25 flask. For 10 days, the cells have neither died nor proliferated. I am using high glucose DMEM with %10 FBS. How can i provoke them to proliferate again? If you have experienced the same issue before, please enlighten me. Thanks.

You may seed the cells in a smaller surface area like 35mm culture dish or a 6-well plate. Since you mentioned that there were very little cells left for the T-25 flask, it means that the seeding density was not sufficient for a T-25 flask for the cells to communicate with each other and proliferate.
By seeding them in a vessel of smaller surface area, perhaps the cells which are already low in number may be able to come closer to one another and communicate with each other resulting in cell proliferation.
Please note that cell seeding density, which can alter cell-cell distance, may be a critical parameter controlling subsequent cell proliferation. Too high a density can lead to rapid nutrient depletion, waste accumulation, and altered cell behavior due to overcrowding. Conversely, too low a density might not support the desired level of cell-to-cell interactions and can slow down or even halt growth.
