Like many researchers, I made the switch from Twitter to BlueSky for all the obvious reasons. However, on ResearchGate, there’s currently only the option to link a '𝕏 (formerly Twitter)' account to your profile. Would it be possible to expand this to include BlueSky, where a substantial number of scientists are active now?
Are there any other ResearchGate users here who made the switch and would like to link their BlueSky accounts?

A few steps you could take to push for BlueSky integration on ResearchGate:
Contact ResearchGate Support – Send them feedback requesting the addition of BlueSky as a social media linking option. The more users request it, the higher the chance they’ll implement it.
Community Discussions – Start a discussion in relevant ResearchGate groups to gauge interest. If a significant number of researchers prefer BlueSky, ResearchGate may take note.
Public Discussion on BlueSky – Posting about this issue on BlueSky itself (with tags like #AcademicTwitter or #BlueSkyScience) could get more traction and encourage ResearchGate to act.
Alternative Linking Methods – Until ResearchGate supports BlueSky, you could manually add your BlueSky link in your ResearchGate profile description.
Dunno... isn't BlueSky already after its peak? With top interest (according to google trends) around November 2024, top posts around February 2025 and subsequent downward spiral afterwards? With right now people seeing prominent stories of people returning to X due to excessive echo chamber on BS?
When think about it, this isn't that surprising that website that frequently bans anyone expressing slightest heresy against contemporary Western far-left orthodoxy has very limited market niche. It didn't even catch on in all countries and for example my university while tried to hedge their bets in social media landscape, ended up with literally a dozen followers (16, one third being other Polish institutions that also tried their luck and ended following each other), as no-one is using it here.
