the biotic stress also dangerous but to a particular cell type as in case of various viral and bacterial infection since they are targeted to particular cell type and particular organ , for example as we know that the HIV are cell specific to T-Helper sells with CD4 receptors. so they are going to harm a particular cell type but not the whole organism . as compare to abiotic stress it is not specific to particular cell type...
Yes I agree with Prakash. Plant defense mechanism is more active for biotic stresses then abiotic stresses. Since abiotic stresses impact on whole plant organs and processes like physiological, biochemical, metabolomic etc so CDP is triggered by high ROS for basal level of tolerance.
