Respiratory CSF displacements have long been shown to be distinctly more intensive and extensive and, besides, far more changeable than the pulsatory ones (Reitan 1941, Strenta-Filstroff C 1970).
While MR flow mapping has continually improved, I have never been able to spot any advances in the field of respiratory (or even exertional) CSF flow mapping with any of the older or more recent flow mapping techniques.
