I'd like to address one of my concerns regarding multiline TRL calibration. After calibrating a frequency, I occasionally did not get the expected result. If you look at my attachment, you'll notice that after calibration in some frequency ranges, it shows a sharp curve above 0dB (sometimes). Is there anyone who can say me why this type of error occurred?
This is the typical signature if a bad contact (loose connector) somewhere in your setup

Repeat the calibration and measurements and let us know the results. As mentionned by Fritz it can be related to bad contact.
Question1: Are you using on-wafer calibration and measurements?
Question 2: What are you measuring with DUT1 and DUT2; microstrip lines of differerent lengths?
Djilali Hammou, I'm designing a CBCPW line - it's currently in the simulation stage in hfss - but with the simulation data, I occasionally get these spike/discontinuties problems after calibration at some frequency. For the calibration, I used the scikit-rf calibration algorithm.

What do you mean by calibrating the HFSS results? Do you mean dembedding and removing some fixture from the saved HFSS simulated Sparameter file?
