Life has a variety of colours. Each specie adds a unique aspect of creation. There are countless colours of creation. one such example belongs to human race and the others are animals. These are two different aspects of life on the earth. One has the superiority over the other on account living quality.
Human beings are also animals. Their brains are highly developed and more superior to the brains of animals. They can think abd reckrd facts that happened in the past , the present and the future. Animals can only think and express their limited needs that are close to them in space and time.
Because an animal has they have different brain, and different DNA information in it. Its evolution (it time) has been different - probably as a result of some accidental modifications in th DNA chains i some creatures .

Simply because the brains of animals are not so developed like humans.
Human beings are also animals. Their brains are highly developed and more superior to the brains of animals. They can think abd reckrd facts that happened in the past , the present and the future. Animals can only think and express their limited needs that are close to them in space and time.
Why would they want to? Animals generally do not kill or destroy things without a reason. Animals know how to live in and enjoy the moment. Humans are often so busy with future thoughts that we never live in the present. Maybe the question is why can humans do not have the life philosophy of animals.
Or is it 'choose not to live like humans'? Animals were doing just fine before we arrived on the planet and displaced and exterminated them. :)

Animals do kill and destroy without clear reason. Foxes, Leopards, even Lions. If you put a machine gun in the paws of any of these creatures and they were able to use it, like humans, they would destroy millions.
They could, but it would take a very long time. It took millions of years to develop our brain from our animal ancestors (from fossil evidence).
For example, our fingers were not made (by Mother nature) for texting on cellphones, but for climbing trees and finding fruit to eat.
Actually Michael, our success as a species depends on our ability to access and utilise a number of environments: that is what we seem to be built for-long grass, bipedal, jungle, climbing, running, plains, etc, etc.
One of the cornerstone ideas of the animal rights movement is that there are no fundamental differences between humans and animals: humans are just animals, only more intelligent
The duration of sleeping for animals is enough for them to rest. They should always be alert to the dangers that might happen to them and that is why animals are half asleep so that they can respond to any risks that are close to them.
