In my case, Li2TiO3 has exhibited oxidation reduction peaks in the potential range 0 - 1 V. So in this particular region my electrode has anodic property, but when the potential region is -0.4 to 0.4 V the electrode is exhibited rectangle shape CV (Pseudocapacitive behavior)? In both cases, i used nickel substrate and saturated Li2SO4 electrolyte. What is the chemistry behind it?
A LIQUID JUNCTION POTENTIAL could do some play!
Use an internal standard (ferrocyanide salt maybe) in your aqueous electrolyte to measure potential window of your electrolyte. Because your reference potential could shift depending on the electrode distances or more.

if you want to see a reduction peak , you need to cause an oxidation before, maybe you do not have this oxidation-reduction play when your window is between 0.4 and -0,4V
