My Father! His Ethics! He was Teacher.

There are some Kenny Rogers is one because he has reinvented himself at least three times. George Vernon Mann. He was one of the first man who had the courage to say no to the cholesterol scam. A great scientist who never liked to make a fuzz out of nothing and had a big commitment with the truth.

I wonder if following a role model is always conscious.  We emulate gestures, inflections, vocabulary of admired people often without awareness.  Perhaps the clearest example is speech.  Unknowingly, in your fine Chilean Spanish, you imitate members of your family if not teachers.

My role models of life are those who shaped my personality as a human being since child hood. Both of my parents were the very first people to know of good deeds and nurture, values of decency, civility, generosity  and respect to fellow humans that I grew up to learn from.

Role models of my profession are those teachers and professors who taught me the value of truth and the connections they displayed in the ultimate aim of education, to promote the field we study and serve society.

I have not been consistent. My choice had been customized over with age and demands over that time.I liked Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, Kofi Annan, Mandela etc.,...Ford, Kim hu Chang (Daewoo motors), Iococa (Chrysler),....Cricketers Tendular, Bradman, Clive Loyd, Vivian Richards, ....

I don’t have role models. I am not sure if it is bad not to have role model? Only thing is, I haven't found a person who I want to be like. The older I become, the less respect I have for the so called role models of our society. I  feel that every individual is unique and we should celebrate it. 

The only character who remains eternally my model is my late grandfather. Sheikh of a brotherhood liked by his peers for his integrity, generosity, devotion and piety. He taught me the love of the other before taking care of my instruction to the man I am. He instilled in me the love of others to know God's, wisdom (Sufism) and patience to all events that could occur in my life.

Can a person be a role model when you never personally met the person, e.g. when exposed attitudes differ from hidden attitudes?

My role model with whom I lived was my mother (who died in 2002). She was very kind to every one, hard working,  tidy, honest, and with very good intentions to all.

I have more than one role models in life. Early childhood you have your parents as role model but when you grow then you learn to pick role model and get inspired. To name a few Florence Nightingale, Dr. K.M. Cherian, Dr. K.K. Haridas, Dr. Deviprasad Shetty.

My father is my role model. He was a self made person and has done a lot for the family and the society. Throughout his life, he believed that destiny is in our hands and success is not a chance happening and to succeed is a decision that one has to make. His remained active and vibrant till the last day of his life.

Dear Marwan

They kept changing like me and my personality. When I was a school student playing cricket Gavaskar and Viswanth were my role models. When I joined agricultural college and pursued my under and post graduate studies Dr. M.S. Swaminathan, the famous Indian agricultural scientist was my role model. During my school and college days, I participated in dramas and plays and my role model for acting was legendary actor of my mother tongue (Telugu spoken in the provinces of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in India) N.T. Rama Rao was my role model. When along with my friends I started a cultural association and started writing prose and poetry, revolutionary poet Sri Sri was my role model. When I joined my job and started reasearch on medicinal and aromatic plants, I was totally lost in the jungle of my work I found only my plants all around and no role models at all! Today I have none.

I haven't a role model, i respect each achievement from the parents, teachers, scientists and any person who was great by his heart, works, or ideas... from my childhood I have self adjusted my personality to the challenges i had met

we always try to find our role model..but truth is that ..we r own role model that's why we can not transform our personality in to another, but we can do our best through following ones role model. How, why and what, these all life events we figure-out in perspective to cumulative output of two brains (self and role model)   

My teachers and my mother.

My best model can be myself because I crystallizes in me my grandfather my parents my teachers and all those who contributed far and near to what I am and that's another way to pay tribute and gratitude

My Teacher! Who served as Vice Chancellor also!

For me, the role model is the person who plays a significant role in making our life stable, peaceful, ambitious and effective. They might be our parents, teachers, relatives, sometimes friends too. Most of the time our role models are the person about whom we have heard about (though they don't know us). 

People may have more role models, not just only one. As I have mentioned before, my father was my role model, but Nikola Tesla also.

Actually role model is somehow those person from who you learn many things in life, people who plays a significant role in making our life stable, peaceful, ambitious and effective. From there, my role model is my father, I choose him because he is the one from where I learnt lessons of life and was able to complete my whole life stacks.

My father is role model & right from my childhood with his loving care he has become a source of inspiration . With the passage of time I acquired his interest of literature ,philosophy , & such other areas which have remain a source of guidance during my study period & to me my relation with him has remain all the time a friend ,philosopher ,& guide
