There is no doubt that the print-news industry is going through rough times and that its readership is at the verge of declining, if not “dying.” On the other hand, newspapers are increasingly struggling with diminishing readers (or what I may loosely term as the death of print readers)! Even worse, with the rise of news sites and the social media such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp many believe that we are witnessing a new age of technology where newspapers have unavoidably failed to respond to the ever-rising new challenges they are facing. For that, are newspapers a matter of the past?
