Abstract: In the study of the authors the technology of monitoring the environmental situation according to satellite data. The authors reviewed the satellites of the leading countries of the world: Russia, USA, UK, Canada, India, Korea, Japan, China, France, Brazil, Spain. The share of the countries Israel, Italy, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela in the launch of space programs was determined. When choosing a methodology for the study of environmental monitoring according to satellite data, the authors used methods of measurement, description, modeling. The main purpose of the work is the use of satellite data to determine the ecology of the area. Detection of air, water and soil pollution. In the first part of the work identified and classified all types of pollution. Determined their impact on humans. Summed up the theoretical material for decision-making modeling of ecological situations (A. S. Modelski). It is revealed that an important aspect of the preservation of personal and environmental resources is the presence of a clean environmental situation. The sources of infection were identified and grouped. An example of environmental monitoring in the Russian Federation from space is given. The project of the Government program "Digital economy" on space monitoring "Kazakhstan"is described. The main purpose – the analysis of ecology on a photograph from space of agricultural grounds and water resources of Kazakhstan (the river, lake, pond, channels with irrigation water) is defined. The example of monitoring the ecological status of the selected lake Baikal shows mail pollution. According to the satellite images, the time of cleaning the contaminated area was determined. natural processes in the observed areas or objects. The authors ' studies have revealed solutions to the socio-economic problems of the Russian Federation and international cooperation. For peaceful purposes, the Government of the Russian Federation decides to approve a legislative document on the planning of space surveys, the reception, processing, storage and dissemination of remote sensing Data from civil spacecraft of high resolution (less than 2 meters).RF Government decree of June 10, 2005. N 370. In the methods of the study are described from which server to take the information from NASA. The processes of automated information processing are described. The work of the Copernicus atmosphere monitoring Service is described, the site of useful information is specified. In conclusion, the authors determined that environmental information is required promptly. A person can receive such information only at the expense of satellite data. Humanity is increasingly putting at the service of remote sensing data of the Earth. It was discussed that the control of air, water and soil should be carried out only on high-resolution images. The study identified countries that invest in space monitoring. Countries control the environment.
