Hello, at the moment, I’m thinking about doing a new research project in the Czech Republic about using microalgae as a biofertilizer to improve the qualitative parameters of soil. Anyone here is working on the same topic? My question is about methods of applying lyophilized algae extracts to the soil. Could anyone advance? Thank you.

The application of lyophilized microalgae as a biofertilizer would not be viable in practice because biomass production and harvesting is the main challenge. Nevertheless, you can use the deoiled microalgae (having protein: nitrogen source) for fertilization purposes.
