Guys, I'm totally confused! I'm really a green hand in DC immunology, is immature DC (iDC), regulatory DC, and tolerogenic DC the same? DCs that we used were usually mouse bone marrow derived by culturing with IL-4 and GM-CSF. Are DCs got from this immature? I wanna use my nanomaterial to skew DC differentiation to some kind of "regulatory" type ao as to realize immunity suppression. But regulatory DCs don't seem to be often mentioned, and everybody talked about iDC. Any specific surface marker for regulatory DC? Help!
