I want to isolate the microparticle fraction from blood samples. I have seen plenty of protocols and commercial products to isolate exosomes, but I am interested in microparticle isolation. As far as I know, differential centrifugation will allow me to isolate MPs but together with the exosome fraction, which is not useful for me and may disturb any further analysis. Any ideas or suggestions?
