What exactly you want to measure? Are you interested in measuring the flow characteristics (eg. viscosity, sheer rate..) or the contents of the blood (cells, plasma components) or the functional status (eg. , oxygen saturation, pH, redox etc)?

Actually, in Chinese medicine, we can use the tongue body to show blood circulation quality. So, we do not use any devices to test the patient's health situation.
