Please if you have the experience in the isolation and characterization of polysaccharides you can share in a project grant and in publication, The mushroom in question has a very good anticancer activity.
Our group has extensive knowledge in N-glycan analysis of glycoproteins. We can enzymatically release N-glycans from complex mixture of samples and structurally elucidate the glycans based on exoglycosidase digestion studies with UPLC and mass spectrometry.
Is it already known that mushrooms contain some high mannose N-glycans in some species, perhaps complex N-glycans, hybrids are also present: "Discovery and structural characterization of fucosylated oligomannosidic N-glycans in mushrooms, J Biol Chem. 2011, Grass".
