Since it's influenced by many factors such as temperature and doping and the range of conductivities takes several magnitude orders, I'l like to know which conductivities values are considered for normal conditions (298 K and 1 atm) for such materials. I'd kindly thank anybody who answers this question to provide at least one reference
I've looked upon such conductivity values on the tables in the end of such books but no values appear, I've seen some stuff on slides of my course didactic materials as well as in Encyclopedia Bitannica, but no reference to use in order to properly quote.
Si and Ge conductivities vary far too strongly too give a single value. What you can find is a lower limit, the intrinsic conductivity that you have when the carrier concentration has the intrinsic value.
Usually however the conductivity in either is dominated by impurities/doping, so what's usually done is to assume a given doping concentration. Charts of room-temperature conductivity vs. doping concentration can be found in many textbooks, e.g. "Physics of Semiconductor Devices" by Sze, of which parts are available via Google books.
