Thanks Himadri, that's the modem that I use - it needs an additional noise-blocking module, SC105, and aerial, and a router service to send data from the data logger to a PC via the software LoggerNet.

Still, any ideas on SIM and network providers? Campbell recommends Wireless Logic, but i want to hear from the RG community whether there are any off-the-self options!
