Hello colleagues

I am sure my question is very cliche for most of you but, still, I am not very sure how to choose the most appropriate risk of bias assessment tool for my meta-analysis.

The studies I am reviewing are single arm trials where pain scores were measured before and after a surgical procedure.

Cochrane authors support that ROBINS-I and ROBANS have the best external validity, however, I haven't found any comprehensive article explaining pros and cons of each tool.

I would be very grateful to have your views!

Best Wishes

Andreas
