I am starting my data analysis for my MSc thesis and I am having some difficulty to find the most suitable statistical test. I have different concentrations and different exposure times of a certain coumpound. The effect of these variables for several parameters was taken at four consecutive time-points. I want to assess the best concentration and exposure time. Any suggestions? I already thought about running a one-way repeated measurement. Thank you!
The type of data analysis you conduct should be determined by your research question, your experimental design, and the nature of your data.

If you could elaborate on these points we might be able to give your more specific advice:
i.e. Are you interested in whether there is difference in effects with different concentration/exposure times (in whcih case you might run an ANOVA with repeated measures, dependent on model assumptions e.g. dependent variable (your outcome) is continuous, independent variable would be combination of exposure time/, no significant outliers, normally distributed dependent variable, sphericity)
Are you interested in the individual contributions of concentrations / exposure time on your outcome? You may want to do a linear regression (again dependent on assumptions)
Do you have reason to believe that a changing exposure time will modify the effect of concentration on your outcome? You could test for an interaction between the two independent variables.

Firstly thank so much for your reply! Indeed I want to find the best outcome for each measured parameter i.e. best effect for a concentration/time combination. With this in mind, would you reckon a ANOVA with repeated measures? Francisca Félix
