Can you please provide more detail about what you are trying to test? To be able to suggest a statistical analysis, people would need to know what your research hypothesis is, and what your independent and dependent variables are like.

Yes it would be better to provide details of your study. However, you may use chi-square for associational analysis and logistic regression for predication and modelling purposes.

Thanks for your question. As pointed out you need to be explicitin asking the question. This will minimize misinterpretation of what you exactly need. 

Having said that, if your dependent variable is binary in nature, you may use binary Logit or probit model.  For instance " Assessing factors influencing farmer's participation in development group" where one participates I.e. Yes (1) or otherwise I.e. No (0).  Alternatively, if your dependent variable is continuous in nature I.e. land size in acres, you may use a multiple linear regression.  On the other hand, if you may opt for multivariate modelling if you have several dependent variables.
