I am conducting an experiment examining the effect of background music on memory for facial expressions.
IV has 3 levels (No music, happy music, sad music)
DVs are: 1- Total recall score 2-Accuracy of happy facial expression recall (correct happy facial expressions recalled divided by total number of happy facial expressions) 3- Accuracy of sad facial expression recall (correct sad facial expressions recalled divided by total number of sad facial expressions)
I want to check if (1) happy music significantly affects the DVs. (2) Sad Music significantly affects the DV.
I tried MANOVA (with the help of youtube) but I'm not sure how to analyze the results.

You've said that you want to examine the effect of the IV on each of your DVs. That suggests to me that you have two univariate questions, not one multivariate question. If you do have two univariate questions, estimate two univariate ANOVA models: There is no need for a preliminary MANOVA. See Huberty & Morris (1989), for example (link below).
Also, you say you want to see if happy music and sad music affect the DVs. I assume you mean you want the following contrasts for each DV: 1) happy vs no music; 2) sad vs no music. If so, carry out two planned contrasts. If you need help figuring out how, try a Google search on , and look at one of the tutorials that comes up. HTH.
