Teaching is a sacred profession. All our teachers have played a major role in our development. However, some of our teachers played a bigger role in the formation of our future. We gained a vision with the help and support of them. Do you have a teacher/teachers who you cannot forget with their features? Which features of these teachers are memorable in your lives?
Excellent teachers have a permanent and positive effect on how we might wish to see ourselves in the future.
The teachers, who impressed me most by their skills, approaches and attributes, were those 6 outstanding British men who taught me courses & supervised my research during my postgraduate studies in the late 1970s & the early 1980s in the United Kingdom.
I really cannot forget anyone of them in shaping up my subsequent character & attitudes. I learnt from them the straightforward scientific way of thinking & judgment, how to look deep into problems in trying to solve them, carrying out proper analysis of data, how to have good rapport with all within an academic setting, modesty towards others, justice, kindness, politeness, and honesty. Honesty is the real basis for progress in life at personal, national, and global levels.
Definitely teachers experience and hands on skills and knowledge what only that person can give me . It is like other parts of that encient secred key without that today my followers or students wouldn't have been appreciated me!! Nothing but some pieces of priceless diamonds! :-)

In my point of view, a quality teacher is who know how to motivate students and give him courage for success.
1. He tries to create active learning based on topics to be taught,
2. In his lecture, students have increased motivation when they feel some sense of autonomy in the learning process,
3. Deliberately fashion the learning exercise so that students are working at the very edge of their abilities,
4. He helps students set achievable goals for themselves,
5. Use invited guest speakers, fellow students or other peers in his lecture.
6. Encourages motivating every student to participate and making them believe that their input is valued,
7. Avoid long lectures and focus on direct instructions
8. Used a supportive teaching style that allows for student autonomy can foster increased student interest, enjoyment, engagement and performance.
9. Encourages and instilling the belief in students that they can learn coupled with high teacher expectations and you are confident in their ability to be successful.

The teachers that had the most impact on me were those that though me how to understand a subject, but to apply that knowledge to the next challenge.
The teachers who had the most impact on my success were the ones who took time to 'mentor' me. This could be from guidance on balancing personal vs. professional goals, to guidance on specific projects. The guidance often included challenging me to complete tasks outside of my comfort zone, with the confidence I could come to them when needing help. The teachers were above all, responsive to my requests for guidance. In essence, I value the teachers who took time, beyond the classroom lectures, to continue my education.

Academic rigor and empathy are the most valued to maintain high standard.
We can't remember the degree of a peculiar teacher but we can remember the way in which he or she use to teach us. Even we can remember the words of teachers if it touches out heart. According to me teaching must be heart touching not mind touching because mind can forget but heart can't as because it flows with blood.
Good teachers have passion have teaching . They greatly influence the students. They understand students and students absorbs what they teach .The teachers who greatly influenced to me were those who had excellent communication skills. So I believe that communication skills are very important quality of a good teacher.

My high school math teacher promised everyone to give a hundred points at the end of the year. He said he only wanted us to listen to the lesson and learn mathematics. The professor I was most affected by is my Ph.D. supervisor, I learned a lot from him, although he was very tough and everyone feared him, he was a true professor, and in every sense of the word ...
