Bioinformatics is seen as an indispensable tool in modern biological research. Bioinformatics comes hand in hand with data analysis and biostatistics. So, for an excelling career in bioinformatics, a thorough knowledge of Statistics, big data analysis and Coding is the key. (Y)
To improve your skills in bioinformatics and computational biology, having coding skills and mastering Linux, NGS, Python, Julia, R, C, C ++, Fortran, etc, is very helpful.

Your "job" will be to either build or confirm (and then maybe modify) models based on data. A model is a representation of how the world works and an ability to take a perspective that will permit the client (people using your work) to better understand and therefore deal with the knowledge, processes or parameters revealed from your analysis of the data. This may go so far as to suggest collecting further or different data in order to construct better models. Better is measured by how quickly, accurately, repeatedly, or how reliably the model predicts or represents the real world gleaned from the confusing mess of numbers, measurements, opinions, and established forms and norms thrown at you. Unsurprisingly, skills for dealing with people are part of the mix.

Hi sarah, learn Python along with most of its major modalities or packages as (MatPlotlib, PyTorch, NumPy. SciPy, PyPi, PANDAS, Jinja2, MD Analysis, SPYDER etc.) with good expertise. Also get a good command and skills in Molecular Dynamic Simulations technique. Marketwise they have good scope and even good money if you chose to work in freelancing.
