The cerebellum is in charge of acquiring data from the various sensory sytems of the body.Once it receives all of the information that it needs, the body will start to move accodingly. It may seem like it takes a long time when it is being explained in this manner but all of the processes happen in a short amount of time.
It is through the cerebellum that the various movements of the body becomes possible. For example, the voluntary movements are all controlled by the cerebellum. Every time that you talk, every time that you move, it is the cerebellum that is controlling everything in your power appropriately.
