I was using Palmitic acid [9,10-3H(N)] from American Radiolabeled Chemical. The end point of the assay is tritiated water which is produced from oxidation of [3-H] palmitic acid. Now they have come with two new products Palmitic acid [16-3H] & Palmitic acid [2-3H]. Can anybody tell me are these new products better if we consider the reproducibility & window of the assay?
