I'm going to use potentiodynamic to get material corrosion behavior and Rp/Ec Trend to get corrosion rate plot .
You know potentidynamic changes the specimen surface and Rp/Ec doesn't change , so it's correct to run Rp/Ec trend firstly and then Potentiodynamic for the same surafce area with same solution

I suggest you follow this procedure
1) OCP at least to 1 h. The time depends to the electrolyte and material. If you see the difference in potential is less than 5mV for at least 30 min, do the next step
2) LPR or RP, Ei=-0.025 V vs OCP Ef=-0.025 V vs OCP
3) OCP again until reaching a stability, the potential could have a small difference if you compare with step 1)
4) Potentiodynamic Ei=0V vs OCP Ef= this is dependent of the material, please refers to literature. I suggest a small scan rate (0.1667 mV/s), but try different scan rates for you system.
