I am working with HeLa and SiHa cell lines. I would like to have one other normal cell line alongside these cancer cell lines, to identify the effect of the drug in other normal cell lines. Is it mandatory for me to take any normal cell line of cervical origin or can I use any other cell lines like fibroblast?

Probably you can use EA.hy 926 cell line as a normal epithelial cell line

It is not mandatory but desirable to use the cell line of the same tissue of origin.
If you can get hold of Human Cervical Epithelial Cells (HCerEpC) it would be helpful. I have attached a link from where you could purchase this cell line.

Alternatively, you could use human dermal fibroblast adult cell line (HDF-a) available at ATCC. Please refer to the link below for more information on this cell line.
