Hello everyone,
I would like to try hypoxia/reoxygenation in vitro using neonatal mice cardiomyocytes with a hypoxia chamber. I read many models in the litterature but I don't know which one is the most relevant.
How long should I put the cells in hypoxia and how long in reoxygenation please ?

These are both decent papers looking into hypoxia/reoxygenation. There are plenty of others and the question you need to ask yourself is are you trying to go from a hypoxic state to room air (hyperoxic) or to a more physiologically relevant state. Most of the time it should be the latter which means you need to keep cells at a lower than room air state anyway.
As far as systems to do this with, I do think a compelling case can be made for the HypoxyLab as you can set programs to go from atmospheric hypoxia to reoxygenation (over and over). Beyond that it is the only systems using partial pressures (as opposed to %) meaning if you are comparing to the in vivo cardiac system the comparison can be a bit more of a 1:1 comparison.
